What is this?

The Vastu Purusha grid: 81 squares with 45 devtas, Brahma at the centre, and 32 devtas around the edge that also name the 32 entrance padas.

How Vastu Shastra reads it

The outer ring runs eight padas per side. Ten of them are called auspicious for a main entrance in the published reports. The inner corners hold four pairs, the middle of each side holds one devta, and Brahma takes the central nine squares. Corner pairs are split into outer and inner squares here as a drawing convention.

Questions

›Which entrances are auspicious?

N3, N4, N5, E3, E4, S3, S4, W3, W4 and W5 in the published reports. The planner shows which padas your door touches.

›What about marma points?

The sources mention them but do not mark their positions, so we do not draw them.

›What if my door spans two padas?

We list every pada it touches. If their readings differ, it is shown as mixed, because the sources do not say how to read a split door.
